When Wispr is the right product
You want one voice OS on phone and laptop, you are fine sending audio to their servers, and you like their cleanup enough to pay a subscription with no lifetime option. Their marketing is excellent. The product matches it.
When VV is the right product
You live on a Mac. You dictate into Cursor, Mail and Slack all day. You do not want a second company storing the meeting you just talked through. You would rather teach “Supabase” once, locally, than rent a dictionary.
We will not pretend to have SOC 2, Steven Bartlett, or an Android app. We will keep standard dictation on the machine. That is the whole comparison.
